We hand over the tyres of our vehicle fleet to the company Precurados San Juan once they reach the end of their life span. The tyres are restored and retreaded so that they can be reused, thus preventing disposal.
In our offices we collaborate with the NGO Ecovolta as well as with the Secretariat for the Environment, by raising awareness among our employees and suggesting that they leave useless dry cells and batteries in dedicated containers, specially designed for the safe storage and subsequent treatment of these products.
When in the field, our employees leave dry cells and batteries in sites designated by the clients.
We collaborate with Equidad Foundation by giving away computer hardware (monitors, keyboards, mouse pads and chargers), which will be recycled and delivered, together with appropriate software, to schools, hospitals and social organizations that use those elements to fulfil their projects.
We hand over our printers’ empty toner cartridges to the company Dinámica Laser.
Dinámica Laser has a recycling laboratory which is certified by the National Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainable Development, being registered under Law 24051.
Our fleet of vehicles is based at San Juan Branch Office. The maintenance service on all our vehicles is carried out by the authorised service Toyota Gonzalez Gonzalez S.A., which holds a certification ISO 14.001 and is registered as hazardous waste operator in the Provincial Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainable Development.
Dedicated and differentiated containers for hazardous and special waste are placed in all the premises where we perform our works. SINEC complies with all standards and records in place in every project location, with the aim to minimise any type of environment impact.
The dustbins in our offices are marked either recyclable or non-recyclable waste.
Our target is to raise awareness among our employees as for the right separation of waste, with the aim to cooperate with its recycling and reuse.
In our vehicles, we have anti-spillage kits in place, so as to act appropriately in the case of an emergency.
We perform practice drills related to the environment in each of our works with the aim of raising awareness among our staff and training them so that they are ready to act as appropriate.
At SINEC we are engaged with our employees’ safety:
